Privacy Notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice explains what personal data Field Estate collects when you use FIELD Estate, why we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Field Estate, Stockholm, Sweden, is the data controller for personal data processed through FIELD Estate. This means we decide why and how your personal data is used. You can reach us about privacy at hello@fieldestate.se.
2. What we collect and why
- Account details (name, email address, login credentials or sign-in provider identifier) — to create and manage your account and let you sign in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Project content (property addresses, listing links, photos and other files you upload, your editing choices) — to produce and deliver your videos. Legal basis: performance of contract.
- Order and credit history (credits bought and used, order status) — to keep track of your balance and orders and meet accounting obligations. Legal basis: performance of contract and legal obligation.
- Support messages (messages you send us or post in a project thread) — to answer questions and fix problems. Legal basis: performance of contract and legitimate interests.
- Technical and usage data (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, error logs) — to keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing — we only send marketing emails where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. Legal basis: consent.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers who host the website, store data and files, provide sign-in, send emails and help us run the Service, acting on our instructions.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our products, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy notice; we never see your full card details.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities where we are required to by law.
4. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.
5. How long we keep data
We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Order records are kept as long as accounting law requires. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email hello@fieldestate.se. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) or your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit who can see your projects, and secure sign-in.
8. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember basic settings. The checkout, provided by Paddle, may set its own essential cookies to process payments. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time, though you will then be signed out.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
